We knew that the United States, Japan and other countries in Europe was adopted the system of forest products (wood) boycott from countries that have not Ecolabel Certification Forest. They assume that woods from forests uncertified as unsustainable managed forest.

Certificate of Sustainable is basically a recognition of the ability of Forest Management Unit (FMU), whose members are farmer groups, in applying the principles of sustainable forest management. This certification comes as a result of forest degradation where the timber trade is a major cause uncontrolled. It also reflect the awareness of green products and efforts to reduce global warming.
The certificate is valid for 15 years and will be evaluate and monitore by the Certification Bodies every three years. Next, Forestry Office of Lumajang District will propose Senduro and Pasrujambe sub district forest areas to get sustainable forest certification. There are approximately 3000 hectares in Senduro and 2500 hectares in Pasrujambe.

Meanwhile, in Indonesia it self has just 11 certified FMU. FMU of Wana Lestari Gucialit sub district is a FMU with the highest score across Indonesia.
